Arike Ogunbowale, the American basketball professional for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the college level before being selected as the fifth pick overall by the Wings in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale, was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997. She is the daughter of Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. In July 7, 2014, she was also named for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also named for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first collegiate campaign. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for hitting several huge shots in the NCCA Tournament. Even though she is still just a rookie she has become a renowned basketball player and is certain to keep her track.
