Maureen Denise McCormick was born on the 5th August, 1956 at Woodland Hills, California, the sole daughter of Richard and Irene McCormick. Her father worked as a teacher, and her mother was a stay-at-home mom. Michael, Dennis, and Kevin are her three oldest brothers. McCormick has always loved dancing, singing and performing puppet shows. Her fairytale rise to fame began when she won her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6years old, which resulted in an inquiry from the an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency in which she was inquired if she wanted to be in show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 when she appeared in a commercial for Mattel's newly released doll "Baby Pattaburp." The following year, she did another commercial for the company's "Chatty the Cathy" doll, and soon was part of the production The Wind It up and It Breaks, which was staged at the The La Jolla Playhouse. McCormick played the youngest of three girls with two heads in The Brady Bunch TV sitcom The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson was the main character, and Robert Reed was the father. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick disclosed in the book that was published in 2008, entitled"Here's My Story": The Journey of Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice the fact the fact that Barry Williams was her screen brother.
