JenniferJennifer dreamed of all her life to become a multitasking superstar. Her passion was for diverse music styles as a kid, including Afro-Caribbean music styles like merengue, salsa and merengue and bachata. As an adult, her top genres were pop music that was mainstream, R&B, and hip-hop. Although she was an avid enthusiast of music, her fascination with the film industry was also high. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was not just an amazing entertainer. She also spent 8 years at an Catholic elementary school called Holy Family. Jennifer then left after four years of Preston High School. Jennifer was a star athlete during her time at school, and was a champion in tennis and track and field. She spent most of her upbringing in a two-story house located in the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer quit her home at the age of reached the age of 18 and moved into with her parents. Between the ages of 18 and 18, Lopez worked at a law firm and took dancing jobs at night.
